Hi, I was wondering... What exactly is this exspansion "Chapter 2" please explain in depth if you have the time to do so.

Chapters/expansions are just that, a whole load of new material added to the game. ANet just calls them Chapters instead of expansions. In GW's case, or so they have said, the content amount will be roughly equal to the original. Not much is known about Chapter 2 yet since it's still a bitearly, but check out this interview for some insight:
